Our Little Libby-Bug

We had so much fun dressing Libby up on Halloween. She had a little cold, so she didn't have the best day, but looked precious! We took her to the Halloween block party in our neighborhood where we saw some of her friends and met some new ones. WOW- there are a lot of kids in our neighborhood! Apparently this block party is a secret and you don't get invited until you have a baby, so Libby was our ticket in.

Libby's little love bug wings and snuggling with Mommy after playing hard at the party.

Libby's graduated to her big stroller and can ride in it without her infant seat. She loves that she can sit up in it and look all around her. Of course I don't like it as much since I can't look at her the entire time we're walking :(

Yes- we were matching on purpose - it was Libby's idea :)

Look at those cheeks- this girl doesn't go without a meal!

The Pumpkin Patch

We are so lucky to have such great friends with a baby Libby's age! Brett and Stacie Berry had little Everley Lu 2 days before we had Libby- we even had the same room at the hospital! Libby and Everley have become very close- they have been to the pool together, shopping together and most recently to the pumpkin patch. They did wonderfully as we wedged them between pumpkins and put them in beds of baby pumpkins just to get these cute pics!

Everley and Libby wedged in tight- we couldn't get them to smile or look at the camera, but at least no tears!

Libby did quite well "sitting" in her pumpkin recliner!

Just the girls!

Family pic- what a fun day!

A Day at the Park

Last weekend we took Libby to the park for the day. The weather was beautiful! We just let her lay on a blanket on the grass practicing all of her new rolling skills.

Is Josh asleep in this one? Too bad I brough such a small blanket that he had to lay in the grass!

Posing with Mommy!

Its a bird... its a plane... its Libby!

Libby is 3 Months!

Libby is 3 months old and growing and learning so much! She's sitting up in our laps now really well and having fun sitting in her Bumpo seat! She's so tiny, we laugh every time she's sitting in it with her arms on the arm rests just like an adult. She is also rolling over like crazy- getting stuck laying on top of her arm, but she's almost there! She's now grabbing toys that we put in front of her and reaching for the toys on her play mat. She is so much fun!

Libby loves her Bumpo seat and is such a big girl when she sits in it! And yes, that's a fleece vest that she's wearing!

Got my toes in the water...

Josh and I decided it was time to take a small family vacation and get out of Charlotte for a little trip. We went to Charleston for the weekend to stay with Beth and Tommy and had a great time! Libby slept the entire way there and did great the whole time. She was a little confused by the breeze at the beach, but soon became just as relaxed as we were. We already can't wait for our beach trips next summer!

Folly Beach - Libby's first steps in the ocean- she loved it, even when a small wave crashed on her legs.

Check out my cute suit and bonnet!

First family beach picture- we were slightly over prepared with the tent, umbrella and tons of gear, but we had a great time and Libby did so well that we can't wait for next summer!
Mommy and Libby relaxing under the umbrella.
Libby found a new friend in Tommy and a perfect seat!
Libby got some snuggle time with beth before we headed to the beach.

Meeting Uncle Clay!

Libby was so excited this weekend to finally meet her Uncle Clay. Clay flew back from Texas just to see her, and it was love at first sight- he was such a natural!

Josh introducing his little bro to his little lady. Libby was definitely confused with her Uncle Clay looking so much like her Daddy.
Libby had a fun day at the pool. She mostly napped and hung out inside, but she did get a little time in the sun.
Clay's friend Kayla came over to meet Libby too!
